The Cherice Cochrane Mentoring for Success Foundation is a 501-c3 non-profit organization created in 2002 in memory of Cherice Cochrane, who passed away at the young age of 19 within 24 hours of contracting meningitis, a vaccine-preventable disease. Cherice was an exemplary student and role model who achieved excellence both in and outside the classroom.

Her legacy continues in the work of the Foundation.
